Bookings & Deposits:
To confirm any quotation or arrangement, a non refundable deposit of $30-$50 per student is required. Trekset will not charge a cancellation fee if the tour is cancelled due to a lack of passengers, and in Trekset's view the tour becomes uneconomical to operate. After that we are in constant touch with you, helping and advising you every step of the way.
Tour Price:
There are no hidden extras. Our tours are fully inclusive and the costs are based on 40-50 paying students depending on itinerary and destination. Tour prices may be altered at the discretion of the company for any reason.
Seasons:
We have discounted our tour rates for tours that depart outside the holiday season, a bonus for the group that wishes to avoid the peak hour rush.
Flexible Itineraries:
Trekset can tailor make a tour to suit your needs, designed for any number of days and for any number of passengers, as we have available coaches seating 23 to 61 passengers.
Camping & Equipment:
Exclusive to Trekset - 2 persons to our 3 man tents, which are 9ft by 9ft pyramid style with sewn in floors. Our safari tours are fully equipped with cooking, lighting, stools and tables. We also provide sleeping mattresses.
Weather:
Wet weather may effect a safari tour and conditions can become uncomfortable due to extended periods of rain. If this occurs, your Coach Captain will make every effort to find alternative accommodation, i.e. church or scout hall or similar. Should your group require accommodation in halls, vans or motels, this additional cost must be paid by the group.
Meals:
A well fed group is a happy group - and we aim to please. Our cooks are selected because of their ability to provide well balanced nutritional meals combining freshness and appeal. YES we can (by prior arrangement) cater for the vegetarian. Special dietary food must be supplied by group.

Hostel/Vans/Motel/Dormitory:
All hostel/van tours are based on multi share with shared facilities. Accommodation between 3-8 students in single or bunk beds. Motels have units with private facilities.
Insurance:
A special student/staff protection policy is available which covers additional expenses, loss of deposits, loss of baggage, personal accident and public liability, all at specially negotiated rates.
Photographs:
Trekset Australia has chosen photographs to represent typical scenes of Australia & International destinations. However, it is possible that the subject matter may not be seen or experienced whilst on tour.
What to Bring:
Every passenger is allowed one piece of hand luggage the size of a small airline bag for everyday on board requirements plus one small sausage bag (no metal framed backpacks) provided the total linear dimensions (i.e. length and width and depth) do not exceed 140cm and a weight of 20kg. To help with preparation you will receive with your detailed final itinerary, information on a suggested clothing list, camping procedures and emergency telephone numbers.
Cancellations:
Trekset will not charge a cancellation fee if the tour is cancelled due to a lack of passengers, and in Trekset's view the tour becomes uneconomical to operate. Cancellations after 30 days before travel will incur a fee but Trekset will make all attempts to keep this to a minimum. In most cases a drop in numbers will necessitate an increase in price. A cancellation charge of the full amount will occur if cancellation occurs 5 days prior to departure. We suggest passengers take out travel insurance cover to avoid disappointment.
Airline:
Airline charges are current as at the 27th November, 2006. Any increase after this date will necessitate a rise in the price of the tour. It is important to remember that until air sectors have actually been ticketed, the air-fare is subject to price increase. To safe-guard this we suggest the air sector cost be paid as soon as possible and therefore avoid any increase.
