Booking Conditions:

  1. A 10% non refundable deposit is required within 14 days of tour dates being confirmed to you in writing.
  2. The balance of payment is due 65 days prior to departure, the exact date will be advised.
  3. All tour increases will be added to the tour cost. Although Trekset has a confirmed commitment from ground operators, airfare prices and currency fluctuations are subject to increase without notice. If the group wishes to safeguard the airfare against any possible increase, an additional payment of the air content (before final payment is due) will enable the tickets to be issued and the group air guaranteed against any price rise.
  4. There will be no surcharges or price increases once Trekset has made final payments for all services.

Refunds & Cancellations:

  1. Notification of a cancellation of a passenger must be made in writing.
  2. If a passenger cancels up to 65 days before departure fuIl loss of deposit will be incurred.
  3. Cancellation 64 days or less before departure, Trekset will refund what is available.

Travel Documents:
A valid passport with appropriate visa is required and must have 6 months validity from return date - any person not holding an Australian passport may need to comply with certain visa or re-entry requirements.

Luggage:
Free luggage allowance of 20 kilograms is permitted. Excess baggage is at passenger’s own expense.

Amendments:

  1. $100 fee for every alteration of file booking up to 65 days prior to departure.
  2. $100 amendment fee for every aIteration to confirmed flights prior to airline tickets being issued.
  3. Once tickets have been issued, a $100 amendment fee will be payable for any changes or ticket reissues.
  4. Any flight alterations to the groups will incur a fee of $100 per passenger.

Departure & Other Taxes:
Please note that all international taxes are not included in the price of your tour cost unless otherwise specified.

Tour Prices:
Tour costs are based on tariffs, airfares and rates of exchange at the time of printing this brochure. In the event of currency fluctuations or airfare increases, Trekset reserves the right to amend tour costs to compensate for unforeseen price rises and currency fluctuations.

Costs:
All tours, other than NZ tours, are based on 20 paying students in multishare and 2 staff in one twin room. NZ tour is based on 40 paying students multishare and 4 complimentary staff in 2 twin rooms.

Exclusion Clauses:

  1. Trekset will not be liable for any damages, loss, injury, delay or inconvenience caused by an airline, shipping, ferry, rail or bus company; hotel, organization or person providing facilities or services in connection with our tours.
  2. Trekset cannot be responsible for events beyond its control, such as (Without limitations), Acts of God, War, Weather, Strikes or Government Restrictions, nor for personal injury or property damages caused by persons not controlled by Trekset such as (without limitations) Airlines, Bus Companies, Ferry perators, Railways, Hotels and Schools.
  3. Trekset will not be liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property including baggage, personal belongings, money, passports, airline tickets or other travel documents.
  4. Trekset reserves the right to make alterations to itineraries and tours for reasons which we believe to be sufficient and proper.
  5. No refunds are made for unused land services such as meals, accommodation, visits, transportation etc. missed by the group for absence or any other reason once the tour has commenced.

Photographs:
Trekset Australia has chosen photographs to represent typical scenes of International travel. However, it is possible that the subject matter may not be seen or experienced whilst on tour.

Accommodation:
Hotel accommodation as indicated in the itinerary; however changes are sometimes necessary. Trekset will contact you if changes occur.

Medical Facilities:
Doctors, dentists, hospital, clinic, pharmacy and urgent dispensary facilities are available. However, it is advisable to take over your own medications. Consult your own doctor for specific details regarding vaccinations and medications.

Insurances:
The group is strongly recommended to take our travel insurance. Trekset has negotiated rates for student groups covering loss of baggage, personal accident, loss of deposit, additional expenses. Cover can be arranged for you by Trekset or by a licensed travel agent.

Responsibilities:
Trekset has made every endeavour to ensure that these details are correct, but as Trekset relies greatly on the information provided to it by its outside suppliers, it cannot accept any responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in this publication as a result of information supplied. Sales of services described are made by Trekset solely as agents for the persons or company providing the service. The company reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any tour or any booking made for a passenger or decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour, and further shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy, misdescription or changes to any tour or its itinerary, or for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in air or any other transport services, sickness, weather, strikes, wars, quarantine or other causes. Baggage and personal effects are at the passenger’s own risk throughout the tour and it is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure insurance has been arranged. The ground content for each tour as specified in the itineraries, represents a complete package and an itemisation of costs will not be rendered.
