Day 1: Australia - Christchurch (D) Assemble at the airport for your Trans-Tasman flight to
Christchurch. Enjoy a panoramic coach tour of the garden
city before dinner.
Day 2: Christchurch – Fox Glacier (BLD)
A stunning day as you head west across the plains to the
spectacular Arthurs Pass National Park. Today you view two
glaciers - massive rivers of ice - when you visit Franz
Joseph Glacier en route to your overnight stop at Fox
Glacier.
Day 3: Fox Glacier – Queenstown (BLD)
You’ll be amazed at the scenery today as you travel via the
Haast Pass to Wanaka where on a clear day there are
spectacular views across the lake. Continue to
Queenstown, a picturesque town nestled on the edge of
Lake Wakatipu.
Day 4: Queenstown (BLD)
Queenstown is the adventure capital - choose from jet boat
rides, white water rafting, fun-yakking, bungy jumping, helicopter rides and lots of other exciting options. (Optional
activities are at own expense). Coach available for
local use today.
Day 5: Queenstown - Mt Cook (BLD)
A morning visit to Arrowtown before heading north to Mt Cook National Park. It’s good old fashioned hospitality tonight when you stay at Glentanner Sheep Station. |
Day 6: Mt Cook - Christchurch (BLD Enjoy one of the many alpine walks in the area before
heading back to Christchurch via Lake Tekapo and the
Church of the Good Shepherd.
Day 7: Christchurch – Australia (BL)
Time for last activities before transferring to the airport for
your return to Australia.
